14k gold filled is a beautiful more affordable alternative to solid gold as it is a genuine layer of gold permanently heat and pressure bonded onto a base metal. Gold Filled metal contains 100+ times more solid gold than cheap gold plated plated jewelry. It is extremely durable, won't chip or flake, tarnish-resistant, and a great alternative to expensive solid gold jewelry. Gold-filled jewelry can also be worn by people with sensitive skin since its 100% Hypoallergenic, Lead and nickel free!

Can I shower with my pieces?

Yes! You can shower with your pieces. They are high quality and will not tarnish in water. If you feel your piece doesn't look as brilliant as when it was first purchased, it is likely just dirty. We have a whole cleaning regimen that you can find on our Instagram @shaywithlovexo , or on the cleaning card that comes with every order. Silver needs to be cleaned more than Gold Filled.

I have sensitive skin. Is Gold Filled/Sterling Silver a good choice for me?

Yes, skin sensitivity requires real Gold/Silver, and Gold Filled is many layers of solid Gold over a base metal that your skin will never encounter.

Can I engrave the back of the pendant too?

We do not engrave the back of pendants because we hand stamp pieces which applies pressure and will show texture from the opposite side’s engraving.

How long of a chain do you suggest?

Everyone is different. Necks can be small, larger, long, or short. For this reason, it is smartest to measure your neck in inches with a tape measurer or a household item that can be measured with a ruler after you use it to determine the length of your neck. You can also use a necklace you already own to see what your length preference is. We do all our variations in inches.

Do you have ______ stamp?

Many people ask us if we have a specific stamp that is not listed on our shop page in the stamp photo legend. The answer unfortunately is always no. We only have the stamps we provide in the images, and we add them to our images as we add more to our collection. We do not digitally engrave, we hand stamp everything, so the stamps we show in the listing, are the only ones available.

Do you have ______font?

The same goes for font. We do not have any other fonts than the ones we show in the listing images. As we acquire  more, we add them to the options. We hand stamp, so we cannot do custom fonts from the internet. That is digital engraving.

 
Can I get multiple discs on one chain?

Yes! We have a double-disc necklace which lets you pick 2 discs for one necklace. If you wish to add more, we have a listing for add-on charms where you can purchase discs separate from the chain and add them onto the necklace you purchased. If you do not want a chain at all, you can use the add-on listing to purchase the disc only.

Will this fit on my bar necklace?

Always message us ahead of time if you do not think something will fit on the bar necklace and need advice. We generally offer information on character limit in the listing description, but if it is unclear, send us a message.

Yes we can rush pieces but please get in touch first as we have limited staff and work in chronological order if priority is not requested. Depending on season, there may be an additional charge for rushed orders.

How long is your turnaround time?

Processing time can vary. Generally, you will see your piece marked as “shipped” 3-5 business days after you order based on stock, restock, and order volume. We hand-make every piece so please remember this processing time is crucial to us. We live in a world where everything is so instant, but these items are made by hand, with a lot of care and attention to detail, so we appreciate you giving us the time we need. Once the order has shipped, depending on your location in the world, you should expect anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks depending on the shipping you chose and your location. Shipping carriers need extra time in high volume times (holidays) and especially need your patience with COVID 19 delays. If you want a quicker shipping time, Express shipping is always available at checkout, however, COVID 19 has delayed express times as well and does not refund you for late arrival times. Processing time is controlled by our shop, but we do not have any control over shipping time, so we appreciate your patience with shipping times.
